YourChef.in — Refund Policy

Clear, fair and simple — our refund process for orders and services.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

We want you to be satisfied. Refunds are considered when requests meet the following conditions:

  • Request submitted within 7 days of the order date.
  • The product/service has not been fully delivered, consumed, or used.
  • For digital downloads, online classes, or personalized services, refunds are only eligible if the content has not been accessed or delivered.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

The following items are generally not refundable:

  • Services already completed or substantially delivered (including chef bookings after the event date/time).
  • Customized or tailored menus and meal plans created specifically for you.
  • Any refunds requested after the 7-day eligibility period unless there are exceptional circumstances.

3. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided the service/preparation has not started.

If you cancel after 24 hours, cancellation is subject to approval and may include administrative or processing fees depending on the stage of preparation.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email our support team at connect@yourchef.in with your order ID, date, and reason for refund.
  2. We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days.
  3. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Bank or gateway processing times may vary.

5. Exceptions & Special Cases

In rare situations (e.g., service interruptions, unavailability of ingredients, or force majeure), we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • Full refund
  • Partial refund
  • Rescheduling or credit voucher for future use

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest change will be displayed at the top of this document on the website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated policy.
